UAV Summit 2010 will take place April 26-28, 2010 in the Washington, DC Metro Area. Taking into account recent developments, including last month’s interceptions into U.S. Predator drones video feeds, the event discusses UAV initiatives critical to strengthening overall communication links, achieving greater autonomous controls and hearing DoD visions for the UAVs of the future. Topics will also cover current AFRL research, UAS payloads, UAV acquisition and certification opportunities.
The 4-day Summit offers a UAV Technology Day, 2 Main Summit days and a UAV Focus Day. The Focus Day features a session presented by the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, “Making the UAS Better,” as well as a presentation from the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab, “MCWL UAS Test Efforts.”
